Nomads Rugby Appoints John Peel (“JP”) as Consultant-Advisor

Nomads Rugby has appointed John Peel (“JP”) to advise and assist its Director of Rugby, Dallas Price; Director of Women’s Rugby, Jess Wong; Director of Men’s Rugby, Andrew Stephens; and Juniors Director, Leanne Stillman to prepare Nomads Rugby for Return to Play.

The purpose of JP’s appointment is to ensure all sections of the club are ready to commence training and, ultimately, competition when we receive the green light to return to play.

JP has made a significant contribution to Nomads women and juniors program in his time with the club. He is a respected and influential World Rugby level 3 coach who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of coaching rugby and club management together with his passion and philosophy to Nomads Rugby. He is a perfect fit for the role and we are confident he will do a great job.

Nomads Rugby is close to completing the process necessary to be sanctioned for Return to Play in 2021 as we were in 2020. All Nomads’ activities including training will, once again, comply with Rugby Ontario and Rugby Canada’s Return to Play requirements and the Province and the City of Toronto’s regulations. The maximum numbers in groups, times of training, allowed activities etc. may change over time.
