Charitable Donations
To enable Nomads Rugby donors to receive charitable donation tax receipts, The Nomads Rugby Football Club of Toronto has partnered with Ontario Sports Network the Ontario branch of the Canadian Council of Provincial & Territorial Sport Federations (CCP&TSF), a Registered Canadian Amateur Athletic Association (RCAAA). As an RCAAA, Ontario Sport Network partners with the National Sport Trust Fund (NSTF) to issue charitable tax receipts for all qualifying donations of $10.01 or greater.
Please note that Ontario Sport Network charges approximately 4% to use its service so the net donation received by Nomads Rugby will be slightly less than the total donation.
Charitable donations can be directed to The Nomads Rugby Football Club of Toronto through the NSTF-Ontario Donation Form. Please ensure that you select one of following "Organization Names" to ensure your donation is directed towards Nomads Rugby:
The Toronto Nomads Rugby Football Club of Toronto (Nomads No Player Left Behind Fund)
The Toronto Nomads Rugby Football Club of Toronto (Nomads Rugby Operations Annual Fund)
For more information, please contact the Nomads Rugby Board of Directors or "treasurer @ torontonomads.com".
Nomads Rugby strives to be the best club it can in all respects, both on and off the field. Our objective is to be a community-oriented, World-class rugby club, serving Toronto’s downtown and west-end neighbourhoods, schools, youth and adults.
Currently membership fees alone covers about 50% of the cost of Nomads Rugby’s annual operations . The quality of Nomads’ coaching and programs depends heavily on the generous support of sponsors and donors. Major capital projects, such as the new rugby field at Eglinton Flats, rely entirely upon successful fundraising efforts.
Every contribution - large or small - makes a difference. Please help us achieve our goals by considering the following options to support us:
Why Give to Nomads Rugby?
We believe club rugby is the foundation of all levels of rugby and the foundation must be solid and effective for Canadian rugby to prosper. We also believe that involvement in rugby and membership of a rugby club provides life-skills and other benefits to children, youth and adults alike.
