Removing Financial Barriers for Children
The sport of rugby is building momentum and we continue to work hard to bring more athletes to the sport through Nomads and our outreach in schools and the community. As Nomads’ Junior Director it is very important to me that I share the message that this club does not see finances as a barrier for children who would like to play for us. We do have significant dues that go to help maintain our access to great facilities and playing kit, but we also have caring families and sponsors who I know will help me to ensure that anyone who wants to play for Nomads can be a part of our teams.
In order to make this a reality we continue to look for sponsors and encourage all who can to donate to Nomads No Player Left Behind Fund managed through Sport4Ontario project #145. This Fund’s goal is to ensure that deserving young people are able to participate in the unique experience rugby, particularly Nomads Rugby provides.
Nomads Rugby is committed to providing financial assistance to players who otherwise would be unable to pay their membership fees, experience rugby’s unique culture and enjoy Nomads Rugby club life. Charitable donation tax receipts are available by donating through Sport4Ontario project #145.
