U14, U16 & U18 Girls
Our junior girls’ program is designed to introduce new players to the game of rugby, but also develop skilled, high level athletes capable in competing at provincial and rep level. We welcome players of other sport backgrounds, but also with no sports experience.
The coaches strive to give each athlete the personalized attention to develop their game and make them confident in any game situation.
Since every athlete needs to be able to do everything on the field, we aim to teach and develop all basic skills such as catch/pass, tackling, scrummaging, lineouts, as well as defense and offense strategies. One goal we have is to develop each of our players as strong athletes through specific training in agility, sprinting and strength.
Team plays full 15-a-side, weekly games in the Summer, typically on week nights. The 7s season is played in the Fall and consists of tournaments played on either Saturdays r Sundays.
Rugby has a position that suits every type of athlete. Nomads Rugby welcomes players of all skill levels and experience who want to learn, play, grow and make new friends while doing it.
